Welfast Fasteners specializes in Pin Type Anchors for push through applications. Pin Type Anchors are impact-expansion type concrete anchors with an interior hole extending the length of the anchor. A hardened drive pin comes along the assembly inserted in the bolt. The anchor is threaded on the upper portion where the drive pin is inserted. Other end of the anchor has four equally spaced slots for a portion of its length, with ribs extending the circumference of the anchor for a portion of its length. Pin Type Anchors are yellow dichromate plated over zinc.
Drill hole size is equal to actual anchor size, thus no templates required.
Quick and simple hammer set installation eliminates need of any special tools and also reduces installation time.

How to Install :
Drill a hole of sufficient depth using a hammer drill and properly sized carbide bit of the same diameter as the anchor being installed.
Clean out hole of all the drilling dust.
Place the washer and nut on the anchor, turning nut on to the anchor as required :
Flush with top so as to secure the threads while the anchor is being hammered.
Thread them fully.
With nut, washer and pin in place, insert the anchor through the material to be fastened and into the concrete base material.
Using a proper sized hammer, set pin with several accurate strikes on the head of the pin until the pin is flush with the top of the anchor. The concrete anchor is now properly set eliminating the need to torque the nut to set the anchor.
